Don’t underestimate power of screen shot – Part 1

In my London-Tokyo travel life, taking screen dump is powerful tool…

I am REALLY flat out with all SIM card drama and roaming-fee surprise in my all travel experience.

OK. I could stick to Wifi most of time but misses any connection on the move.

And then I noticed IT all of sudden.

Daily Information pack of screen shots

Simplicity is a key for engineer’s life.

Why not clip all you want as screen dump?

This is powerful one. All smartphone got a shortcut for screen shot.

In case for iPhone, hold main button  and power button simultaneously.

When you got up with secure Wifi connection in the hotel, open e-mail with things you need to remember. And just keep ‘screen-shooting’ it one after another.

That’s it. Now you’ve frozen  essentials in camera roll. Wherever you go, they definitely in your phone.

Even more – you are free from any memos – typically they are always found the bottom of your bag in long time after:)

A day  of my work

I am just flicking my camera rolls.

27 photos with yesterday’s date – from client’s face photo to directions to recommended drink-out place.

No mobile-connection mess cannot take them out of me.

I recommend no posh app to do it. If you highlight importance of it, you would take screenshot twice (or more).

I bet you remember it once you saw same screen shot  twice in the roll.

This simple rule changed life

Actually, this is one of three tricks in old issue of Tokyo Engineer Talk. I love this most. Started from earlier last year, I never missed reservations numbers in my all travels.

Actually, daily planning has also been shifted this way.

Amazing – I just wonder if I don’t need any app on my phone anymore.

Could you give a try?

Let me go deeper in this topic for next post. Stay tuned.
